Un p’tit post en anglais pour mes amis… une fois n’est pas coutume ;-)
The week at the Shambhala Institute for Authentic Leadership in Halifax have been incredible! I have met wonderful people and I wish to share some of the best moments of friendship of the week (in random order of importance and I will surely forget a lot of good moments).
Erica. That project we envisioned on Monday was really exciting! I’ll send you a scan of the napkin and try to describe it in more details (one-liner = lifecyclepedia (I registered the name) accessible from bar code scanning machines in grocery stores so we can know the facts about what we buy!). Don’t forget to watch The Story of Stuff and take a look at Patagonia’s footprint chronicles.
Beth. Our ride on the chaordic path gave great results. Thank you for helping me host the entire Shambhala community :-)
Thomas and Tamara. Our first encounter, around rocks in search of balance, has led to a strong friendship. We will find ways to work together in the near future for sure. Philippe came to my house for breakfast this morning and we talked about a trip to Brazil in the next year ;-)
Michal. It was always nice being around you. I wish you a good road trip around America and exciting projects back in Poland.
Ian. True friend. Party animal. Member of the 36 years old boys band. We haven’t had enough time together this year. I’ll have to pay you a visit in England to compensate ;-)
Chris. Sensei, friend, brother. Thank you for everything. I love being around you :-)
Cheers to the guests of Friday night’s «Wild Table»: René, Gabriel-George, Deryk and Ingrid. Carolyn did the call and Philippe and I hosted this envy-generating and wildly fun table.
Natasha. You’ll have to practice a couple more bird songs if you wish to fool me next year – but your Raven calls were really funny!
Ingrid. Our friendship grew from what were started last year and will certainly continue to grow. I wish your experience at the MIT will be fulfilling… and don’t forget to spend a lot of money in Cambridge ;-)
Philippe. Friend and partner. We will never forget this week! We crystallized the vision for Grisvert and got the grounding, balance and confidence to make the Grisvert project the coolest and wisest startup in the World!
Carolyn. I Miss You.
Lalith. Thank you for sharing your insider’s view of life in Sri Lanka. It was really fascinating.
Denise. Introducing you to rock balancing have been a real honor. We had great fun on our «alternate» creative module with Josh, Philippe, Ingrid and Chris!
Hugh and Margaret. I enjoyed every moment spent with the two of you. You really touched me by reading this poem on Thursday night.
Josh. We had a terrific time with Philippe, drinking beer and chatting about life, technology, arts and Mac-geekyness!
Toke and Monica. Spending a week with the two of you was inspiring and refreshing. I hope our paths will cross again and I will never forget what I learned and lived during these intense days.
Raymond, I hope you will find ways to bring something from Shambhala into your Cégep. Oh… and you’re a cool dancer ;-)
James. Thank you for sharing to us what your daily life is in South Africa. It opened our eyes to a reality we are not aware of in North America.
Dear friends, Sophie joins her voice to mine to remind you that our house is always open to all of you. Quebec is a wonderful city and we can be quite decent hosts and guides! Cheers!
